For some time now, I've been contemplating how I dress and how my four daughters dress. Currently, I am wearing a jean skirt but that is more unusual than the norm. I'm mostly a jean (pants) type of gal, but situations over the past six years have made me re-think what I wear.
One thing that I find funny though is that 90% of my running wardrobe is skirts, either from Skirt Sports or Running Skirts.
The following video was posted on The Modest Mom and has me back to thinking...
Glorifying the Lord as a Child of God, a Wife, a Mother, a Homeschool Teacher, a Homesteader, and a Runner
Do you not know that the runners in the stadium all run in the race, but only one wins the prize? Run so as to win. Every athlete exercises discipline in every way. They do it to win a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one. Thus I do not run aimlessly; I do not fight as if I were shadowboxing. No, I drive my body and train it, for fear that, after having preached to others, I myself should be disqualified. - 1 Cor 9:24-27
