Lately, I've been waking earlier than the household to get my workout done before husband goes to work. My almost eight year old, Mr. T, lays in our bed with the baby, Lots of Hair. Sometimes though, Lots of Hair wakes up and her sister, Trouble, joins her. So Mr. T brings whoever is awake downstairs and occupies them until I am finished with exercising and a shower. I have been so grateful to have older children helping out with the younger ones so that I can improve my well-being.
Glorifying the Lord as a Child of God, a Wife, a Mother, a Homeschool Teacher, a Homesteader, and a Runner
Do you not know that the runners in the stadium all run in the race, but only one wins the prize? Run so as to win. Every athlete exercises discipline in every way. They do it to win a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one. Thus I do not run aimlessly; I do not fight as if I were shadowboxing. No, I drive my body and train it, for fear that, after having preached to others, I myself should be disqualified. - 1 Cor 9:24-27
