Do you not know that the runners in the stadium all run in the race, but only one wins the prize? Run so as to win. Every athlete exercises discipline in every way. They do it to win a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one. Thus I do not run aimlessly; I do not fight as if I were shadowboxing. No, I drive my body and train it, for fear that, after having preached to others, I myself should be disqualified. - 1 Cor 9:24-27

  2. Wow, you ran a lot of races in 2010! I only ran one :) To answer your questions about the running while pregnant, I don't think I am going to do it. I've heard you can, but I am so tired this first trimester, that just a long walk can do me in. Plus, I get WAY too nervous about falling on the baby belly, since I've fallen in the past without being pregnant!! If I ever hurt the baby, I couldn't forgive myself. I'm going to continue to walk, do the elliptical at the gym, and do toning and kickboxing classes when I can. Hopefully I won't get too out of shape...

  3. Great list of races! You are all set with running shirts :). I keep thinking I should make mine into a quilt or something! So are you thinking of embarking on a marathon this year?
